I am currently a third year student at Canterbury Christ Church University, studying Fine Art. I mainly work in paint, using acrylic and watercolours, however I do sometimes use printmaking techniques like lino cutting to create the desired impact. I use thin layers of acrylic paint and build them up to create the tonal areas and impact, I usually use photographs from the media or news articles as my inspiration. My work has strong political and activism themes, which are based on a personal strong belief system and a sense of right and wrong. For me, all that matters is that my work receives some form of reaction, whether that be a good reaction or bad.
